A silver Roman denarius of Tiberius (AD 14-37), dating to the period AD 14-37 (Reece period 1). PONTIF-MAXIM reverse type depicting a female figure seated right, right hand holding inverted spear, left holding branch, on chair with ornamented legs and single horizontal line below. Mint of Rome. As RIC I, p. 95, no. 30. The style of this coin is unusual and it might be a contemprorary copy. Die axis is 3 o'clock. Weight is 2.82g, diameter is 18.8mm, thickness is 2.2mm.
