An incomplete spoon with round bowl, Type 1, of Roman date, dating 50-200. The spoon is made of copper-alloy with a white metal coating covering all surfaces of the surviving fragment. The remains of this spoon weigh 4.58g. It has an incomplete length of 42.1mm, of which the circular shaped bowl accounts for 24.8mm. The bowl has a width of 24.8mm and depth of 4.7mm. An incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. This arrowhead was a tertiary flint object but has since completely recorticated. The only area where recortication is not present is at the tips of the barbs which have broken off. The artefact is bifacially worked, the retouch covering one side and being invasive - almost covering - on the other side. On the invasive side just a narrow (2.0mm) length (18.1mm) does not show retouch, the initial longitudinal working of the flint visible through the surrounding retouch. A complete silver Roman finger-ring. This artefact is a Henig's (1974) Type VIII, a 3rd century AD type. The ring weighs 4.26g. The hoop has an external height of 20.8mm and width of 21.8mm. The band has a sub-circular cross-section with slightly flattened facetted sides. At the base of the loop the band has a width of 2.6mm and thickness of 2.5mm. A single piece of secondary flint debitage of unknown date, probably late Neolithic to Bronze Age. A striking platform and point of percussion are visibly present on this flake. Two Late Bronze Age gold penannular bracelets, in a style similar in appearance to torcs. The smaller of the two bracelets weighs 57.24g. The band forms an open oval shape measuring 69.4mm x 53.1mm. The band has a 'D' shaped cross-section, convex on the outer surface and flat veering to slightly concave on the inner surface. At the centre of the artefact the band measures width 10.6mm x thickness 2.6mm. The bracelet has expanded D-shaped terminals, of c.12.1mm (and 12.2mm) by 8.6mm (and 8.7mm).
