Obverse: Wreath crossed by single line of leaves, crescent and two rings forming face in opposing quarters, stylised locks of hair and stylised cloak in other quarters. A plated contemporary copy of a gold Iron Age uninscribed Gallo-Belgic stater of the Ambiani, dating to the period c.60-50 BC, 'Gallic War Uniface' type. Obverse: Plain. A Medieval gold annular brooch weighing 1.34g. The brooch frame has a triangular cross-section with a flat undecorated reverse surface. The frame has an external diameter of 16.5mm and the internal diameter of the loop is 11.9mm. The frame has a thickness of 0.9mm. 1.6mm of the frame's circumference contracts to form a pin constriction. This constriction reduces the width of the frame, at this place, to c.0.9mm. Two Late Bronze Age gold penannular bracelets, in a style similar in appearance to torcs. The smaller of the two bracelets weighs 57.24g. The band forms an open oval shape measuring 69.4mm x 53.1mm. The band has a 'D' shaped cross-section, convex on the outer surface and flat veering to slightly concave on the inner surface. At the centre of the artefact the band measures width 10.6mm x thickness 2.6mm. The bracelet has expanded D-shaped terminals, of c.12.1mm (and 12.2mm) by 8.6mm (and 8.7mm). A gold finger-ring of Roman date. The hoop of the finger-ring is oval, almost circular with an external width of 15.6mm and height of 14.1mm. At the base of the hoop the band has an almost circular cross-section measuring 1.7mm x thickness 1.3mm. As the band expands round and upwards towards the shoulders the cross-section gradually becomes 'D' shaped. A medieval gold finger-ring with blue stone setting held within the bezel. The finger-ring has a circular hoop of circular cross-section. The cross-section has a diameter of 1.1mm at the base of the loop which increases to a maximum of 1.9mm (height) x 1.4mm next to the bezel where the cross-section becomes oval. Description: The 'East Cambridgeshire' torc is a four-flange twisted bar torc of Middle Bronze Age date, known to belong to the Penard phase of c.1300-1150 BC (Taylor 1980, 62; Needham 2001; Roberts 2007). It is made of three separate components: two very similar, undecorated, bent-back, 'trumpet'-shaped, terminals affixed at either end of an exceptionally long (126.5cms, excluding the terminals) spiral twisted bar with very regular cruciform (i.e. '+' shaped) cross-section.
