A pierced copper-alloy Roman coin, an as or dupondius, probably of an Antonine empress, dating to c. AD 138-182. Reverse legend is illegible. Reverse is unclear but shows a standing figure. Mint of Rome. Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse is unclear but possibly shows a female head or bust right. Die axis is uncertain, either 6 or 12 o'clock. Weight is 7.9g, diameter is 26.9mm, thickness is 2.6mm. The pierced hole is sub-circular with a diameter of c.4.2mm and is set 4.3mm from the edge of the flan.
