A very worn silver voided short cross cut farthing Medieval Scottish coin. Probably of William I, AD 1165-1214, Phase B (AD 1205-1230) due to what can just about be seen of the bust. Probably minted at Roxburgh. Obverse showing an incomplete sceptre in front of a now missing head or bust left. Obverse legend too worn to be confidently legible. Reverse showing two arms of a voided short cross, with curved over terminals, a single (probably) five pointed star in the surviving quarter. Reverse legend is too worn to be able to confidently read though is probably [...]RO for Roxburgh. …

An Iron Age silver unit of the North Thames region / Catuvellauni, dating to the period c.60-20 BC, probably Hadham Heart Ear type. Obverse: Head right with corded(?) hair and large heart shaped ear, pointed nose. Reverse: Horse right with busy tail, pellet in ring below, three pellet in rings in front, unclear motifs above including a pellet in ring. This coin is probably as ABC, p. 125, no. 2475; BMC no. 380, although the reverse type above the horse is unclear and appears to differ from the published examples, perhaps a die variant or similar.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman nail cleaner with exuberant neck decoration. The artefact weighs 1.44g and has an incomplete length of 31.7mm. The nail cleaner's blade has a maximum width of 6.7mm, across the shoulders, from which the blade tapers, in one direction, to a forked two-pronged terminal. One of the forked prongs is incomplete, having a worn break just past the start of the centre of the once 'V' shaped notch between the two prongs. Die axis is 12 o'clock. The flan of this coin is mostly complete with a small notch missing from the edge. The notch might possibly indicate that the coin was pierced c.2.0mm in from the edge of the flan and that the metal between the edge of the flan and aperture has broken away.
