A copper alloy coin weight of James I for a spur ryal (16s 6d), dating to the period 1620 to 1632. The weights is square in shape and rectangular in section. The obverse depicts a spur within a floreate? and circular beaded border. The reverse depicts a crown surmounting XVIs/VId. The weight weighs 6.43g and measures 16mm in length and 17mm in width.

A copper alloy hooked tag dating to the early Post Medieval period. The hooked tag possesses a flat, circular section body. The upper surface of the body is decorated with a cast bearded head within a beaded border. There extends at one end a D section hook and at the other a trapezoidal attachment loop. The hooked tag measures 36mm in length and 17mm in width.

A copper alloy buckle plate dating to the thirteenth century AD. The buckle plate is flat and square in shape with two circular perforations, one containing a corroded iron rivet. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a rampant animal facing right. The animal is in relief whilst the background comprises cells filled with blue enamel. Two rectangular lugs extend from the plate. Remnants of gilding are visible on these lugs. These are broken but would originally have been looped around the buckle frame. A copper alloy sword belt fitting dating to the early Post Medieval period. The fitting comprises a hollow, D section body of four moulded ovals tapering to a rounded end knop. A single circular perforation pierces the body. A circular projection extends from one end of the body. This projection possesses an oblique rectangular slot. A further small, circular attachment loop extends from this projection. The fitting measures 44mm in length and a maximum of 22mm in width. A similar fitting is illustrated in Read (2001, 39, 372)

A copper alloy harness mount dating to the thirteenth or fourteenth century AD. The mount comprises a quatrefoil terminal with a stamped rectangular motif on each quarter. From this terminal there extends a split rectangular section projection which expands to form a semi-circular plate. This plate possesses a circular section perforation which is pierced by a rivet. Traces of gilding are visible on both the upper surface of the body and attachment extension. The underside is plain. The mount measures 29mm in length and 14mm in width.
