A sherd of ceramic vessel. Probably a sherd of Late Neolithic, possibly Peterborough Ware, or from a Bronze age food vessel. The sherd is to small to determine a more accurate identification as a a greater length of the vessel rim and neck profile would be needed in order to provide a date based on stylistic characteristics. The sherd weighs 13.18g and is 10.42mm thick. The incomplete height of the vessel is 35.49mm. A flint tanged arrowhead of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead is quite narrow and thin with angular shoulders leading to the tang. The artefact is 41.48mm in length from the tip to the base of the tang. It is 14.97mm wide, 3.48mm thick and weighs 2.05g. For slightly similar examples see Waddington, C. 2004, (p.40, fig.60, item 4. ) or Murawski, P.G. 2003, 2nd ed. (p.21, item S02-0107).

A polished stone axe dating to the Neolithic period. The axe is made from a pale grey flint with dark grey-blue mottling. The butt of the axe is damaged and there is a small chip from the blade edge. The axe measures 155mm in length, 67mm in width and 35mm in thickness. Neolithic flint axehead, measuring 148.5mm in length, 48.5mm in max. width and 29.5mm thick. The axehead has been knapped into a long and tapering shape. One terminal is slightly pointed, while the other is rounded. The knapping scars are multi-directional, but mostly extend downwards and outwards from the centre, forming a high central ridge on one face, while the other is slightly flatter. The edges of the axe have some areas of retouch, and some evidence of damage. The light grey flint is heavily patinated with iron staining.
