A lead seal matrix dating to the thirteenth century AD. The seal is flat and circular. The face of the matrix comprises of a central flower of six petals and a cicumferential legend which reads +S' HALFREDI F' HVGON (The seal of Alfred, son of Hugo). On the reverse of the seal is a moulded lug in the form of a fleur-de-lis. The seal matrix measures 34mm in diameter and 8mm in thickness.

The face of the matrix possesses a device of two central fleur de lis with a circumferential legend reading +S' AGNES [...]VBERTI (The Seal of Agnes ? of ?Hubert?). The reverse of the matrix is flat and plain. Length: 25.51 mm, Width: 24.31 mm, Thickness: 3.16 mm.

The attachment end is decorated with two triangular cut outs whilst the terminal ends in a small rounded end knop. The strap end measures 27mm in length, 15mm in width and 3mm in thickness.

A medieval heraldic harness pendant dating to the thirteenth or fourteenth century AD. The pendant is shield shaped with an attachment loop extending from the wider end. This loop is damaged. The upper surface of the pendant is decorated with the heraldic arms of Richard I and of England as a whole. This comprises three passant gilded lions facing left in relief. The cells created around the lions are filled with red enamel. Gilding is visible on the upper surface of the pendant and its edges. The underside of the pendant is plain.

A copper alloy buckle frame dating to the thirteenth or fourteenth century AD. The frame is oval in shape with a small triangular lip. The lip has been notched to accommodate the pin. The frame extends to an integral forked spacer with a narrowing to hold the pin. The pin is in situ and comprises a triangular section strip of metal curled around the narrowing. The buckle frame and forked spacer measure 32mm in length and 19mm in width. Similar examples are illustrated (eg. Nos. 323, 324) in Egan and Pritchard (1991, 79)

A copper alloy buckle plate dating to the thirteenth century AD. The buckle plate is flat and square in shape with two circular perforations, one containing a corroded iron rivet. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a rampant animal facing right. The animal is in relief whilst the background comprises cells filled with blue enamel. Two rectangular lugs extend from the plate. Remnants of gilding are visible on these lugs. These are broken but would originally have been looped around the buckle frame. A copper alloy harness mount dating to the thirteenth or fourteenth century AD. The mount comprises a quatrefoil terminal with a stamped rectangular motif on each quarter. From this terminal there extends a split rectangular section projection which expands to form a semi-circular plate. This plate possesses a circular section perforation which is pierced by a rivet. Traces of gilding are visible on both the upper surface of the body and attachment extension. The underside is plain. The mount measures 29mm in length and 14mm in width.

A cast copper-alloy ornamental cross-staff head mount possibly dating to the eleventh or twelfth century AD. The spherical head possesses an openwork design comprising three joined lozenges. Each lozenge is divided into four triangles with a cross. At each apex on the staff head mount, there is a spherical knop. At one end of the object, there extends a circular section collar. The collar is damaged but four circular section perforations are visible. These perforations will have been used for rivets to fix the head onto a staff. The staff measures 46mm in length. An incomplete copper alloy swivel probably dating to the twelfth or thirteenth century AD. The loop is oval in shape and has an oval cross section. The shoulders are both moulded to represent stylised animal heads possibly dogs. The heads possess incised eyes and chevron decorated snouts. The flat oval attachment plate rests under their chins. The attachment plate possesses a small circular perforation which is filled with iron corrosion products. The swivel has a diameter of 24mm, the plate has a width of 9mm.
