The obverse is barely legible, although it appears to show a left-facing bust with high-necked collar suggesting it is most likely an issue of Elizabeth (1558-1603). The obverse shows a large bust of the Queen with hair swept back and a rose behind the bust with the inscription: ELIZABETH DG ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God, Queen of England, France, and Ireland). The reverse shows a long cross over the Royal Shield with 1593 above the shield. The inscription reads: POSUI DEU ADIVTOREM. Mint mark Tun.
