Reverse: Disjointed horse left with rectangular head, body of crescents, four vertical legs, pellets above, one pellet below, pellet in ring motif behind tail. The coin has a copper-alloy core visible through the incomplete silver plating. cf. ABC, p. 111, no. 2169; BMC 2555-2636. The coin is 18.7mm in diameter, 3.3mm in thickness, and weighs 4.52g.

Iron Age Silver unit of the "Monnaies-a-la-croix" type, c. 200-118 BC, Obverse: head with flamboyant hair, apparently facing left, traces of highly stylised face are perhaps present. Treasue case 2013 T132: Acquired by Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum The coin is an uninscribed South Western Iron Age silver stater (attributed to the Durotriges). It is of the so-called 'Badbury Rings' type, made sometime between about 50 BC and AD 10.
