This is a silver fourpence of Anne (1702-14) dated 1710. The obverse has the draped second bust facing left and the reverse has the figure 4 surmounted by the crown. This coin is heavily eroded with some damage to the rim.

A Post Medieval silver coin; a four pence of Charles II (1660-1685), dating from 1679. The coin has been mis-struck with an obverse on both sides, over struck with a reverse design on one face. The sides of the coin have also been bent, maybe to form a love token. It has a diameter of 18.12mm, thickness 0.91mm, weight 1.85g. For reference see Spink 2003.
