An incomplete Roman silver denarius, probably of Augustus (27 BC-AD 14) dating to the period 18 - 17 BC (Reece Period 1). Reverse depicts a Triumphal arch surmounted by a quadriga. Possibly mint of Colonia Patricia. cf. RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 50; nos. 134A-137. The coin is incomplete due to old breaks, with less than 50% of the coin remaining.

Heavily corroded silver denarius of Caesar, Minted in Spain between 46-45BC. The reverse shows a trophy with carnyx and oval shield on each arm; beneath on left is seated female captive resting head on right hand; beneath on right is a bearded captive seated with hands tied behind back. It is suggested that the captives are Gauls. Caesar's conquest of
Gaul took from 58 to 52 BC.

This coin is possibly a contemporary copy due to the condition of the silver
