A complete but damaged lead alloy pilgrim's ampulla of medieval date (c.AD 1350-1550). The body of the ampulla is circular with an elongated rectangular neck extending from one edge. One upper corner of the neck is bent backwards and although both suspension loops are present, one is flattened against the main body. Both surfaces of the main body are decorated. Lead shot. Cast dumbbell shot, probably for use with a carbine or pistol of military specification, comprising paired spherical balls joined by an integrally cast round section shank. There is no evidence of it being fired. It is thought that the doubled mass of the round would enhance its 'stopping power' in the event of a hit, though at an increased risk of fouling the gun barrel. The use of cast dumbbell shot is characteristic of English practice in the 17th century, while the pistol and carbine would be a weapon used by a cavalry trooper. Two conjoining fragments of a cast copper alloy turned vessel of probable late medieval to post medieval date (1400 - 1650). The fragment consists of part of the rim and small section of the sidewall. The internal and external surfaces have a brushed / turned surface. The vessel fragments are a mid green grey colour with a coroded surface patina. The fragments when joined measures 55.8mm length, 41.2mm width, is 4.1mm thick at rim and 2.2mm thick body; it weighs 21.25 grams. A lead alloy lead weight of probable later medieval or post medieval date (1400-1800). The weight is circular in plan and rectangular in profile.The upper face is stamped with a C with distinct serrifs; it is positioned below the mid-point. Apart from this mark - it is undecorated. The weight has a mid-grey -cream coloured surface patina. The mass of teh weight is very close to the 2 oz - therefore it is likely to represent a 1/8th of a lb Diameter: 33.9mm, thickness: 7.1mm, weight: 58.6 grams (2 ozs)

An incomplete cast lead-alloy button of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1500 - 1800). The button is sub-circular in plan and D-shaped in section. The front of the button is convex and has been decorated with eight visible pellets around a single, central pellet. The reverse has a small iron stud where the loop has been broken. It has been damaged in the ploughsoil so there are no original edges remaining. The button has a light brown patina and is grey where the surface has been abraded. The button measures 14.3mm in diameter, 4.4mm in thickness and weighs 2.5grams.

A complete cast copper-alloy annular ring of Late Medieval to Post-Medieval date (c AD 1300 - 1700). The ring is circular in plan and D-shaped in section. One portion of the loop is thicker due to an internal rib on approximately half of the ring. The outer surface is uneven. The ring is grey in colour with a mid-green surface patina. The ring measures 27.5mm in diameter, 4.0mm at the thickest point and weighs 5.5grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy double looped buckle of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1550 - 1650). Less that 50% of the buckle remains; the integral central bar, the pin and the second loop have been lost. The internal edge of the frame has a sub-oval shaped lobe extending. The reverse is slightly concave. Neither face has any visible decoration. The buckle is light brown in colour with an uneven mid-green surface patina. The buckle measures 26.4mm in length, 18.7mm in width, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.2grams.
