The token measures 35.28 mm in diameter, 3.15 mm in thickness and 24.6 grams in weight.

The button appears to be a General Service button dating from this period, depicting the coat of arms of the United States of America, featuring a shield with a resemblance to the US flag emblazoned on it. A fragment of a silver button of Modern dating (AD 1800 - onwards).
The fragment is broadly oval in plan and has a central circular dimple and eight incised radiating lines, creating eight triangular segments. The outer face is convex. The inner face is concave and also has a central circular dimple, but the rest of the surface is smooth.
Measurements: length 12mm, width 10.5mm, thickness 3.2mm, weight 1.2 grams.
As this object is under 300 years old, it therefore falls outside the remit of the Treasure Act 1996.

An 18th century - 19th century gold finger ring, worked into an continuous double loop, resembling a closed S.
The face of the ring displays a double-looped effect, formed from a single gold band which has been bent and flattened during the production to form a continuous, curved feature. Description: A complete gold ring with silver coating on the outer face. The inside of the hoop is flat whilst the outside of the hoop is concave. The middle strip of the outer face is silver or white metal plated and has a cross-hatch pattern all the way around. The inside of the loop is undecorated. There is no maker’s mark.

The wire hoop attachment is now missing and the object has a largely light green patina. A complete copper alloy cruciform nail head dating to the Modern period (c.AD 1850 -1900). The mount is of cross-crosslet form, with openwork squares between the cross arms. It has been pressed from thin sheet metal and the edges of the mount are turned over from the upper surface to the lower. The crosses on the outer face are emphasised by a double-line border following the cross shapes. On the reverse is an integral lug placed off-centre. The object has a dark greenish-brown patina.

An incomplete copper alloy shotgun cartridge extractor dating to the Modern period (c. AD 1850-1950). The object has a complete loop, though slightly misshapen with an incomplete skirted lower edge. The skirt has a two larger rounded knops at the shoulder of the loop and the face. A smaller rounded knop can be seen between these larger knops. The opposing shoulder, reverse and underside are incomplete. The object has a dark greenish-brown patina.

The bullet is circular in cross section with an open base and then narrowing to a rounded point at the top. It is hollow for around just under half of the length with 2.51mm thick walls. The patina is largely pale cream, though some parts of the interior cavity are more akin to a light grey. There are some striations on the surface, most likely due to post depositional damage.
