A complete pair of copper-alloy tweezers dating from Roman to Medieval in date, circa AD 43 - 1500. The tweezers are enclosed around a solid mass of iron corrosion.  The tweezers are made from a single strip of copper alloy, folded over. Both arms of the tweezers are broadly parallel with one arm being flat and the other with a curve towards the other arm. The end terminals are blunt. The object is spherical in form with a central drill hole running throughout. there are a few light scratches on the outer surface and no other distinguishing marks.
