A  large copper alloy fragment, possibly from a church bell, dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (AD 1400-1800). The fragment is irregular in plan and cross section. Each side of the fragment has a worn and broken edge. The fragment has a convex outer face which is plain and undecorated. The inner face is concave and has a central moulded rib and a triple moulded edge.  The fragment is mid-green / brown in colour with a mottled surface patina.  It measures 78.7mm in length, 75.1mm in width and has a thickness of 17.6mm.
