An incomplete copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating to c. AD 43 to 100. The brooch consists of the head of the brooch, on the reverse there is a notch where the pin of the brooch projects. The pin is worn. The two wings of the brooch project out from this, they are worn and circular in cross section. In one of the wings there is a white substance contained at the end. The bow projects in a right angle from the head, and narrows to a worn break. The bow is worn, there is possibly a raised ridge down the centre. It has a mid green patina, and measures 18.2mm by 30.7mm, and weighs 6.84g.

An incomplete copper-alloy La Tene III/Nauheim derivative type bow brooch dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, 52.3mm in length. The bow is narrow, with a flat cross sectional profile and is decorated with a ridged collar across the shoulder. The re is a small triangular catchplate at the foot. The integrally cast pin is missing.

The object is part of a three part hinged and hooked book fitting. The object is sub-triangular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section. At the top of the plate, there are two attachment loops that are sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular to sub-rectangular in cross section and which appear to have been formed by bending the projections back upon themselves. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman penannular brooch of Fowler (1960) Type A2 or A4.
The object consists of a knurled knop and part of the hoop of the brooch. At the top of the knop is a sub-circular to sub-hexagonal disc (6.15mm wide, 6.38mm thick). The knop itself has an oval cross section, reaching a maximum of 9.28mm wide and 7.97mm thick. The knop is decorated with moulded knurling consisting of twisting ribs. Roman (c. 43 - 410 AD) copper alloy nail; The head of the nail is flat and roughly rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The shank is integral and is square-sectioned, tapering to a blunt point. The nail is slightly bent from the lower third of the shank. It has a mid green patina and measures 46.36mm long, 7.55 mm wide across the head and weighs 3.32g.

Roman (AD c. 100-350) cast copper-alloy stud or mount: The stud has a circular head which is decorated on the outer face with an undecorated bone setting which is slightly domed in profile. On the reverse of the stud there is an integral circular section shank which does not taper, but termintes with a flattened expanded edge which was probably flattened with a hammer. Post Medieval (mid 16th to 18th centuries) strap mount: The copper alloy strap mount is an incomplete sub-drop shape. Towards the lower edge of the mount there is an obliquely angled break. The break is not recent. The outer face has a moulded design which appears to be the helmet from a Post Medieval suit of armour with two swords folding a saltire behind. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman brooch, potentially of a Trumpet brooch and dating c. AD 75-200. The fragment consists of only part of the catch plate, the foot, and part of the bow. The bow has a D-shaped cross section and tapers from a maximum of 5.84mm wide near the top to 4.23mm wide just before the foot knop. A post medieval copper alloy strap fitting, of C17 date.
The object is lozenge-shaped, with the remains of two lugs at the reverse.
The front appears to be decorated, with a central circular moulding in light relief. Due to wear, the detailed design is uncertain.
There are traces of gilding on the front surface. The object has developed a green surface patina.
The object measures 18.6mm long, by 13.3mm wide, is 2.9mm thick, and weighs 2.3g.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch dating AD 75-200. Only part of the head remains. The head is D-shaped with a stub of an integral chain loop that has stepped moulding. The reverse of the head is slightly concave with the remnants of two integral pierced lugs on the left-hand and right-hand sides of the head. The bow emerges from the back of the head near the top and has a D-shaped cross section and tapers from 4.78mm wide and 3.62mm thick at the start to a rounded point at the worn and abraded break. There is no extant decoration on the head.

An incomplete, copper alloy Medieval buckle plate and rivet dating c. AD 1200-1400.
The buckle plate is roughly sub-rectangular in plan with two rounded, sub-triangular projections on the one side. The top right corner is folded forwards upwards. The sub-triangular projections are bent downwards towards the end and show signs of having been broken in antiquity, and these would have been the attachment loops that attached the buckle plate to the buckle. A complete copper alloy double looped oval 'spectacle' buckle of Medieval to Post Medieval dating, circa AD 1350 -1650.
The frame consists of two oval loops, a recess strap bar. and is slightly convex. The edges of the frame flare outwards. No decoration is present on the obverse. The reverse is concave and undecorated. The pin has been fused to the edge of buckle frame.
