Large sections of the outer edge of the flan are missing from around 1 o'clock to 10 o'clock on the obverse and there is a circular perforation at 11 o'clock on the obverse.

An incomplete, worn, Post Medieval silver threepence of Charles II (AD 1660-1685) and dating to AD 1680. The coin is pierced at 4 o'clock on the obverse and is bent from around 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock on the obverse. See Spink (2013) pg. 345, no. 3386.

The object consists of a copper circular band, which has a width of 5.9mm. Embedded between the band is a copper coin.
