An incomplete, extremely worn copper alloy Roman nummus coin of Valentinian II (AD 375-392) dating to AD 388-392 (Reece Period 21). VICTORIA AVGGG reverse type depicting Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. Mint of Arles. See RIC IX Arelate 30a for a similar example. Diameter: 13.78mm. Thickness: 1.28mm. Weight: 1.15g. Die axis: 12.

Robertson 2000, 398 no. 1601: ""A small coin hoard, found on a golf course at Fladbury, South Worcestershire, in 1935..I have recently found out about this discovery and have managed to borrow some of the coins from one of the finds [sic] and hope to be able to examine more of the hoard this summer.
