The bulb of percussion is clear on the ventral face with one clear bulb scar apparent. The dorsal face has a small area of patination across centre. A complete lead alloy circular ball (similar in size and shape to a musket ball) of probable Post Medieval date (c. AD 1600-1800). The ball has a sub-circular drilled hole through its mid point and has no sign of decoration. A casting sprue can be seen on one side. It is a light grey colour with a relatively thick surface patina. It is highly unlikely that the ball is from shot and instead is suggested to be from a line or net weight. Compare to PAS record HESH-FE7B66. The object measures 19mm in diameter and weighs 19.2g.

A complete, cast, copper alloy set of compasses/dividers of post Medieval to modern date (c. AD 1600-1900). Both arms have trapezoidal cross-sections that taper towards their pointed terminals. The opposite ends of the arms extend into a circular hinge though which a copper alloy pin passes to hold them in place. The compasses no longer move. There appears to be some form of decoration in that there seems to be two incised lines running across the external surface of both arms around half way up the arms. One of the arms is slightly shorter than the other, being around 1.3mm shorter.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill dating AD 75-200. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar which is now missing. The head of the bow has a tapering triangular panel with expanded shoulders. In the centre of the head are two raised lines that converge at the apex of the bow forming a V-shaped crest with a third raised line in the centre that has a loop at the top for the external cord. The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catchplate.

A fragment of a copper alloy Colchester one piece brooch dating from the Iron Age to Roman period (c. AD 25-70). The remains of the brooch consist of the partial head and bow only. The remains of the spring are retained on the iron axis bar fragment. A partial top loop of the spring can be seen retained in the hook at the apex of the head. The bow curves downwards from the head at a 90 degree angle but terminates shortly thereafter in a worn break.
