A complete Post Medieval silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603). Second coinage, initial mark: long cross dating to AD 1580-81. The coin is dated AD 1580. Minted in London (tower). North (1991 Vol 2) no.1997.
The coin is slightly bent and has been struck and almost pierced near the edge from the reverse side.
The coin is 26.06mm in diameter, has a thickness of 0.61mm and weighs 2.5g
