An incomplete, silver half groat of Edward IV second reign (AD 1471-1483). Standard Type 'F', XVIII/XX dating to AD 1477-1480. North (1991) pg. 93 no. 1637. Rose initial mark. There is a semi-circular segment missing just after 3 o'clock on the obverse, and a larger section missing from the edge from 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock on the obverse. The coin is bent from around 4 o'clock to 10 o'clock on the obverse. Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward in a tressure of arches with C on breast. The left hand edge of the coin on the obverse has been bent over.  Coin measures 29.5mm in length and 24.5mm in width.
