An incomplete struck/ hammered silver penny of Edward III, minted in York as part of the Fourth Coinage Treaty Period Treaty Series, between AD 1361-3 (diameter: 18.5mm; thickness: 0.5mm; weight: 1.1g). The coin is in a worn and poor condition. Ref: North, J, J, 1991, 'English Hammered Coinage Volume 2: Edward I to Charles II 1272 - 1662', page 57, ref no 1269.

An incomplete Medieval silver half groat of Edward III (AD 1327-1377). Fourth coinage Pre-Treaty period Series G (probably North 1202) dating to AD 1356-61. London mint. North (1991: 53). Coin is worn and has been clipped and chipped around a lot of the edge thus removing much of the legend. Die has been double-struck on the obverse. Overall dimensions: 22.05mm in length, 17.05mm in width and 1.48g in weight.
