An abraded body sherd of a ceramic wheel made vessel. The fabric has occassional white gritty inclusions which may be limestone and red/brown inclusions which may be grog. The core is a light grey colour, the exterior is a dark orange and the interior is a light buff colour. It weighs 5.34g. The sherd probably dates to the Roman or Medieval period.

A cast copper-alloy drop-shaped mount with an integral perforated lug either side. In profile the mount is domed. The reverse is hollow, except for the tip with forms a small lip. The outer surface has traces of white alloy coating. One lug has traces of iron remaining, suggesting originally there was an iron rivet. The bow is oval in section but it is also slightly misshapen and undulating. There is an incomplete catchplate which is decorated with triangular openwork. The bow tapers to a slender blunt point. A copper-alloy strap fitting: a strap mount or horse harness decoration. The mount is a sub-oval in plan with three knops at each terminal. The central knop extends to form an integral oval sectioned stud. Both studs are broken, but not recently. The upper surface of the mount is corroded. The reverse has a developed dark green shiny patina. The mount measures 24.67mm long, and 13.51mm wide. The weight is 3.2g. The mount probably dates to the 16th or 17th centuries.

A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic stud or pin. The object has a three-dimensional seated dog with an integral loop instead of a tail. The head has large ears, a long, wide nose. Protruding from the base, there is a circular sectioned stud or pin shaft. The surface of the dog has traces of a white metal alloy and a well developed dark green patina. A body fragment of a Samian ware vessel. The exterior is decorated with a row of ‘egg-and-tongue’ (ovolo) pattern with a fragment of an oval border. With a beaded line between. The surfaces have a shiny dark red/orange surface and the fabric is a fine orange colour. The ovolo decoration is found on Samian Ware Forms 30 and 37 which are a type of deep dish. This decoration dates the vessel to c. 69 to 110 AD.

Two knapped flint flakes. The flakes are trapezoidal and triangular in section. Both have been knapped from a opaque mottled light brown/grey coloured flint. None have cortex remaining. Together they weigh 1.8g. The flakes are likely to be prehistoric dating to the Mesolithic to Bronze Age periods (c. -8300 to c. -1500).

Probable fragment of a copper alloy bracelet or torc. The object is a ‘(‘ shape in plan; convex on the front surface. It has a rounded triangular section with the apex forming the outer surface.
