An incomplete sub square lead alloy artefact of uncertain function and form, but probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The artefact is sub square in shape, with the remains of an iron shank extending from one corner. The front exhibits decoration. Five rounded pellets in the centre, in a cross design, within an arched tressure, all within a lozenge shaped cartouche. The reverse has a raised cross design. The corners are rounded. An incomplete piece of decorated copper alloy sheet metal, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The piece of copper alloy metal is sub rectangular in shape, with no complete original edges. All breaks are patinated. The front bears engraved decoration, consisting of several short curvilinear lines, probably imitiating hair or clothing folds. The reverse is undecorated.
