A complete but slightly squashed silver finger guard type thimble of 19th Century AD dating. The thimble is conical with an oval section removed on one side. This oval section extends from the crown to 5.3 mm above the base, a maximum width of 11.0 mm and a maximum length of 18.9 mm.
