The surfaces are even and a cream / light grey in colour. Similar shot have been dated to the later Post-Medieval period however the date range should extend into the early modern period as similar projectiles were used in firearms throughout this period. This is possibly from an 18th century pistol. The shot measures i) 13.08mm in diameter and weighs 10.32grams. ii) 11.72mm in diameter and weighs 8.65grams.
