A group of four lead shots dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1650-1850). Three of the shots are spherical in shape, whilst the fourth is sub-speherical with a frilled edge around the middle. One of the shots has a flattened edge suggesting it had been fired. All are pitted and scratched and have a dark to light grey patina.  The shots range in size from 12.6mm to 17.98mm. 37 lead shots dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800). The shots vary in size from 10.77mm in diameter to 19.67mm in diameter and at least six appear to have impacted. The variance in size of the shots probably suggests both pistols and muskets were being used. The majority of the objects are roughly circular in plan with a circumferential casting seam apparent around the mid-point of some of the shots. Their patina is light grey.
