The object is elongated in form with a central perforated circular lobe and two arms extending from opposite sides that present a smaller sub-rectangular terminal lobe on each end. A complete post medieval copper alloy mount or belt fitting, dating to 1500-1700AD. The mount is sub oval in shape, with one edge slightly wider than the other, resembling the shape of a leaf. There is a rounded knop projecting at each of the narrower ends. An incomplete copper alloy domed mount or strap fitting, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The mount is sub circular in shape, and domed. No decoration is visible on the front of the mount. The remains of two attachment spikes are located on opposite sides of the reverse.  It measures 15.1 mm in length, 12.2 mm wide and 4.6 mm thick. It weighs 1.2 g. The mount is a mid green to brown colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement while within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.

An incomplete copper alloy probable casket mount dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1150-1300). The object is oblong in plan and D-sahoed in section. It has a series of transverse ribs running along its length on one side and the opposing side is flat and undecorated. The object tapers to a ropunded point at one end and terminates in a worn breat at the oppsing end. The mount has a dark green patina.  For a comparable example see Margeson (1993: 76) no. 457.  The overall dimensions are as follows: 56.95mm in length, 5.84mm in width, 3.00mm in thickness and 4.47g in weight.
