An incomplete, copper alloy hook of Post Medieval to Modern date (c. AD 1600-1900). The head is multi-faceted with four main lozenge faces intersected by triangular faces at the bottom and smaller lozenge faces at the top, resulting in 12 faces. There is an integral shank with a circular cross section, initially starting at 4.04mm diameter and expanding to 5.43mm diameter near the rounded bottom. Copper alloy suspension loop from an uncertain object, possibly of late medieval date The loop is of sub-oval form, pointed at the apex (with a length of 26.9mm and a weight of 1.7g) and is of consistent sub-rectangular section (4.1mm wide and 1.9mm thick). Either side of the apex is a double grooved border before an elongated panel with a grooved border, weakening towards the base. At the widest point of the loop (1…

A faceted terminal from a copper-alloy wall hook, perhaps for a coat or cord for a window or blind, of post-medieval or modern date. The object consists of a short, circular-sectioned shaft with a three-dimensional, geometric terminal at the top. This terminal is made up of facets of different shapes; there are four triangles at the base of the terminal and the angled edges of these triangles form the base of four lozenge shapes. The top edges of the lozenges form the base of four further lozenges which meet at a point at the top of the object. The terminal is broadly square in cro…
