An incomplete copper alloy handle from a pastry jigger dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600 - 1800). The handle is oval in section and is divided into two sections by collars and bulbous mouldings in the middle and at either end. The arms are broken off and missing, as is the pastry wheel, but the top of the box for the wheel survives. The object is dark brown in colour. For comparable examples recorded on the PAS database see SWYOR-DF6A2E; DEV-100561; and SF-FB2355. The object measures 90mm in length.

An incomplete copper alloy pastry jigger, consisting of the wheel only, dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1700 - 1800). The wheel is circular with radiating grooves and ridges and a serrated zig-zig circumference, which would have created a zig-zag pattern in the pastry. At the centre of the wheel is a rivet hole for attachment to the handle. The object has a light green patina. Copper alloy wheel from a Post-medieval pastry jigger (pastry cutter) dating 1700 to 1800 AD. The wheel is circular with a crimped outer edge and a central perforation. Due to the crimped edge, rolling it over pastry dough would have resulted in a rolled zig-zag line.The diameter is 19mm and the weight 9.22g. Similar to DEV-F49217, DEV-551F52 (bracket/handle), PUBLIC-F0BC67, IOW-610522, HAMP-709713, DEV-E428B8 and LANCUM-FC21F4.

Wheel from a post-medieval pastry jigger (pastry cutter). It is an openwork circular ring with three spokes flaring into a triangular central hub in which is a circular perforation for the axle of the jigger. The outer edge of the ring is shaped into small convex scallops. 26.5mm in diameter. Compare PUBLIC-589432 and BERK-6EB892. Probably 18th century.
