The object consists of a copper circular band, which has a width of 5.9mm. Embedded between the band is a copper coin. The coin has been bent to fit within the band, the legend is visible on the inside edges of the band and the bust present at the centre. The laureate bust is facing right. The coin has been polished so that there are no remnants of the obverse or reverse designs, and there is at least one noticeable bend in the coin. This would suggest that it may have been used as a 'love token'.
