An extremely worn, incomplete Post Medieval silver penny of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating AD 1625-1649. Possibly Group D. Uncertain initial mark. No inner circles. Parts of the outer edge of the coin are missing and there is a c.2.65mm tear near the centre of the obverse from around 5 o'clock to around 6 o'clock with two c.0.90mm long tears at either end of the main tear.

A fragment of a silver button of Modern dating (AD 1800 - onwards).
The fragment is broadly oval in plan and has a central circular dimple and eight incised radiating lines, creating eight triangular segments. The outer face is convex. The inner face is concave and also has a central circular dimple, but the rest of the surface is smooth.
Measurements: length 12mm, width 10.5mm, thickness 3.2mm, weight 1.2 grams.
As this object is under 300 years old, it therefore falls outside the remit of the Treasure Act 1996.
