A largely complete cast lead medieval ampulla. In plan the ampulla has a scallop shaped lower portion and a narrow straight upper portion with now bent handles on the sides. The ampulla is hollow, with a broadly lozenge sectioned opening at the top. On the front of the ampulla, the scallop shaped portion has bold raised ribs radiating outwards. The reverse of the scallop shell has bold ribs only around the edges, with a flatter central portion on which there is a raised shield design within a shield. The ampulla is nearly complete. The base is rounded in plan, the sides taper towards the narrowed neck and the upper edge is incomplete and has an obliquely angled rough edge, which is not the original edge. Above the narrowed neck each side has a small lug, one is larger than the other. On one face there is a scallop design originating at a horizontal high-relief bar which is situated just below the lugs. Below this bar there is a small sub-circular hole. The cloth seal is made up of two discs and a connecting strip. There appears not to be a stud, or a hole through which the stud went on either of the discs. The discs appear to be pushed together. One face has 'SL' intertwined in the centre. Around which the inscription is '41ob · S O M E R S E T'. The reverse has '[ ]GRIX' across the top with a shield below. The shield is divided into quarters, and it appears that the upper quarters are also quartered. Details of the shield are not clear.

The papal bull is sub-circular in plan with a small hole, 3.52mm diameter, in the centre. One face has a high relief pellet border with the incription 'GRE / GO[ ]VS / ·PP·X·' Above the PP there is an omega symbol. On the other face there are two portraits within a pellet border. Above the portraits the inscription reads SPASPE.

The cloth seal is composed of two large circular discs which are connected by an integral strip. One disc is slightly smaller than the second. Both discs are complete and there is no circular openwork or stud on either of them. There are some brown/red fibres protruding from between the discs. A complete Medieval to Post Medieval lead alloy token, circa AD 1250-1700. The token is sub oval in plan with a sub rectangular section. The token has a raised design of a cross on the obverse. The reverse is worn with surface pitting. A raised curvilinear form indicates that the reverse was originally decorated. The token has a light brown / yellow colour with an uneven surface patina. Maximum diameter: 23.44mm. Thickness: 3.43mm. Weight: 9.4g.

A cast lead alloy button of probably medieval or post-medieval date. The head of the button is sub-circular in plan, although it has been bent slightly out of shape. The reverse has an integrally cast broken attachment loop still attached. A casting flash also runs down the middle of the reverse. The front is decorated with a a cross pattee design, and in each angle of the cross there is a shield, each decorated with horizontal lines. A complete roll of sheet lead alloy, of uncertain date and function (AD 43 to AD 1800). The artefact consists of a rectangular strip of lead sheet, tightly rolled up into a cylinder. It measures 17.81 mm in length, 11.56 mm wide and 10.64 mm thick. It weighs 13.0 g. The roll of lead is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. The Romans did have curse tablets which consisted of writing a curse on a small piece of lead sheet and then rolling it up before offering it to the gods, many have been found in the spring at Bath. A Post Medieval lead cloth seal possibly dating to the 17th century. The object consists of a rectangular shaped folded flat piece of lead alloy, that has a join slightly off centre.
