A sherd of a glass vessel of uncertain date, likely Post Medieval (c. AD 1500-1700). The sherd is likely a wall sherd and is irregularly shaped, being shaped like an irregular pentagon in plan. The glass is clear with a greenish tint and a a slight frosted opalescent appearance. There seems to be an incised groove on the interior surface near the top of the object. Dimensions. Length: 25.91mm. Width: 29.57mm. Thickness: 1.49mm. Weight: 1.93g.

A complete, annular bead made from translucent pale blue glass dating to the Roman period (c AD 43-410). The bead has a slightly domed face with the reverse being flatter giving it a D-shaped profile. Although in good condition the surface has numerous pits and indentations. It has a circular, straight walled perforation of approximately 3mm diameter which is slightly off centre. A fragment of a glass vessel of Roman date (c. AD 43-410), probably a rim sherd. The fragment is formed from a pale turquoise glass in which are multiple inclusions and air bubbles. The rim of the object is roughly oval in section, has been out-turned and flattened with hardly any remains of the neck. Inside the neck a small second rim has been formed, on which are some traces of iridescence. The neck and both ends of the rim terminate in old breaks. A complete blue and white annular glass bead of probable Early Medieval dating (5th to 7th Centuries AD). The bead has been made from an opaque blue glass, with translucent white glass trails as decoration on the surface. It is circular in plan. It has convex sides, with the ends flattened, almost an oblate form. Slight pitting and chipping is present on the surface. The decorative pattern consists of apparently random swirling lines. The central piercing is quite large (8.9mm) and slightly off-centre. The bead has a diameter of 20.27mm, and is 8.49mm thick. It weighs 4g.

A Roman green glass bead. The bead is hexagonal in section and sub-rectangular in plan. One terminal is broken on one edge, but the complete edge appears to be original. The perforation through the bead appears to be a pointed oval shape. The glass is a matte rich mid green colour. The bead measures 11.69mm long, and 4.91mm wide. It weighs 0.5g. Sally Worrell (PAS Finds Advisor) has identified the bead as probably dating to the 4th century when green hexagonal beads were most popular.
