A sherd of a ceramic mortarium of Roman date (c. AD 43-410). The sherd is sub-rectangular in plan and consists of a part of the rim, part of the concave bowl, part of the foot ring, and part of the funnel. At the top of the object, there are remnants of the rim, with part of the rim bent back upon itself to form the funnel. The section of the rim has a largely sub-triangular cross section and is 7.83mm thick near the base of the rim and tapers toward a rounded point, though large sections of the rim have been broken. A body sherd of a ceramic vessel, possibly Medieval in date (c. AD 1100-1500). The sherd is roughly trapezoidal in shape. It starts off at 7.53mm thick near the top, tapering to 5.23mm toward the bottom as it curves inwards. There are thirteen sub circular holes of varying sizes in an irregular pattern that have been made in the sherd prior to firing. The core is largely pale orange with some patches of grey whilst the margins and surfaces are pale orange. The fabric has a fine texture and contains sparse inclusions of what appears to be mica and potentially quartz.

A fragment of hand made ceramic building material dating to the Roman (AD 43-410) period. The surviving fragment is formed of a light orange, sandy fabric with a number of dark inclusions most of which are 1-2mm in size, though one large reddish-brown inclusion can be seen at the base of the reverse measuring 16.07mm in length. The face of the tile is decorated with a shell motif in relief with what appears to be the remains of white plaster in the crevices. AD 43-410). The fragment is a body sherd made from a dark grey fabric with sparse grit inclusions of <0.1mm. Grooves on both sides present it as wheelmade. The lead pot mend is retained on the inner surface of the sherd.
