A body sherd of a ceramic vessel, possibly Medieval in date (c. AD 1100-1500). The sherd is roughly trapezoidal in shape. It starts off at 7.53mm thick near the top, tapering to 5.23mm toward the bottom as it curves inwards. There are thirteen sub circular holes of varying sizes in an irregular pattern that have been made in the sherd prior to firing. The core is largely pale orange with some patches of grey whilst the margins and surfaces are pale orange. The fabric has a fine texture and contains sparse inclusions of what appears to be mica and potentially quartz.
