A large decorative cast copper alloy medieval single looped oval buckle with a waisted pin rest on the front edge flanked by ovoid lobes decorated with lines of punched dots and with ridged collars on either side. The alloy has a high tin content and the surface has tooling marks from finishing. The strap bar is narrowed, recessed and offset and retains a concreted fragment of the pin and plate, 17.7mm in length and bent around at 90 degrees to the frame.

A Post-Medieval (17th century) cast one-piece circular copper-alloy button, 16.8mm in diameter. The button is decorated with an engraved six-pelleted flower comprised of annulets with hatched interiors set around a dot-in-annulet boss and interspersed with pointed V-shaped stamens, the whole set within a linear border. The reverse is flat with an integrally cast drilled sub rectangular shank. Cf. Read (2005).p.34, no.120 and 121.

A post Medieval gilded copper alloy dagger hilt fitting and guard, 39mm in length and probably of 17th or 18th century date. The body of the object is oval in section and hollow with a sub-rectangular interior; the exterior is waisted between rounded lobes decorated with moulded vine / acanthus leaves at either end. A complete early post-medieval (circa 16th century) decorated silver-gilt pin. The pinhead is spherical, 7mm in diameter, with a worn circumferential rib separating the upper and lower hemispheres. Each hemisphere is decorated with three filigree circles, each containing a pellet soldered onto a filigree annulet in the centre. Additional small filigree-mounted pellets are placed between each pair of circles with another placed at the apex of the pin head.
