A rectangular strip of lead that has carefully and deliberately been folded in half. The object may be a piece of casting waste or possibly functioned as a weight or a curse tablet. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. It has been folded once lengthways. Curse tablets tend to be folded more than once, and often look more crude than this example. The object has a brownish white patina.
