An incomplete copper alloy strap end dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1400-1450. The object comprises the hinged plate from a two piece strap end defined by their hinged plate and loop. The plate is rectangular in shape, with a trough in the lower side leaving two small tongues which would have been attached to the loop. There is a small circular rivet securing the plate in the centre of the upper part of the plate. An incomplete openwork copper alloy post medieval bridle boss, dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The boss is circular in plan with a raised central lis motif. Between the foils and petals of the lis are apertures in a range of shapes, the upper two broadly triangular, the lower two trifoliate. An incomplete medieval lead alloy badge dating to c. AD 1300-1500. The badge is circular in shape and has a beaded border. It bears a large, central black letter inscription on the obverse and is plain on the reverse, with the remains of the pin mechanism surviving as two rectangular stubs of lead alloy. The blackletter text is hard to decipher, and is worn, but may read "B[...] Pierre." This may be a reference to the cult of St Peter, but this is speculative. Measurements: 37.5mm diameter, 2.4mm thickness, weight 19.38g.

A copper alloy 'resellado' cob coin, probably of Philip IV (AD1621-1665). The original denomination is unclear, however the coin has been counter-stamped with a date of 1652 and re-valued at 8 maravedis, evident by the '8' counter-stamp. The original marking is no longer visible on the obverse, the reverse shows a crowned shield with a lion. Measurements: 22mm diameter, 1mm thickness, weight 3g.

The object survives in good condition, with some damage to the lower part of the mount, resulting in the loss of one of the decorative knops. It is broadly circular in shape, but elaborately decorated to give a sunburst appearance. At the centre is a raised spherical knop, which lies at the meeting point of six curving ribs which form a dome. A Medieval to Post Medieval Venetian silver grosso agostano (1464-1506) from the Italian Republic of Bologna under Giovanni II Bentivoglio (1462-1506). The obverse depicts a lion walking left holding a staff and banner within a quadrilobe. The legend reads .BONONI [.A. D]OCET. Translating as Bologna teaches. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch dating to the period c. AD 50 - 150. The pin, most of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing. The brooch measures 22.84mm in length, 49.10mm maximum width, 8.43mm minimum width, is 18.17mm thick and weighs 19.50g. The brooch has wide wings, shallow C-shaped in cross-section and divided by a central pin slot. The pin slot exhibits small traces of iron corrosion product from the missing pin. A lead artefact, possibly a leather worker's palm guard dating from the Post-Medieval period, AD 1600 - 1900. It consists of a piece of sheet lead, of average thickness 8mm, shaped to fit a curved palm (roughly D-shaped). There is a shallow, transverse groove across the centre of the artefact on the inner side of the curve, though it is difficult to determine whether this original or damage subsequent to its deposition in the soil. The artefact has a patchy, cream and light grey patina. It is 70.6mm long, 53.9mm wide and 8mm thick. It weighs 228gm. Compare SWYOR-0E65DB.

An Early Bronze Age copper alloy flat axe head. In section, the axe head is lenticular in shape. In plan, the axe head is roughly triangular in shape; the butt end is narrow and has a rounded end, and the sides flare out towards the cutting edge. The cutting edge is cresentic in shape. There are signs of wear on the cutting edge, suggesting it has been used. There are also file marks visible on the surface of both faces, suggesting that the blade has been re-sharpened on the surface. Overall, the surface patina is smooth and dark green. Postmedieval cast lead alloy musket ball. The musket ball measures c.1cm in diameter and still has traces of casting flashes. Muskets and musket balls were used throughout the English civil war in the 1640's; in general, the majority of musket balls date to the 17th and 18th centuries.
