Medieval oval buckle frame, made from cast copper alloy. The bar is offset and narrower than the rest of the frame. The pin is missing. The outside edge of the frame has three grooves in the centre, and two knops projecting from it. A similar, but slightly larger, buckle is illustrated in Egan and Pritchard 1991, p73, number 299. Egan states the basic form of these buckles were in use between the 12th and 14th centuries AD. Width 15.24mm Length 21.09mm

Fragment of Roman amphora handle. Amphorae were sturdy pottery vessels which were used to transport and store foods such as olives, oil, and fish sauce. This handle fragment is flat, with two grooves running down the outside face. The fabric is pale buff in colour, with very few inclusions. The whole surface has been water-worn by the sea. Although it is difficult to tell from this worn fragment, it is possible that the amphora was of the Dressel 28 type (also known as Peacock and Williams Class 31). Modern carrera marble fragment from a figurine. The fragment represents the head of a female. There are traces of paint remaining on the face and the eyes. Geoff Egan has looked at an image of this find has compared it to the present-day Burmese tradition of the painting of religious figures carved from very fine quality local marble. Although the figures produced are mainly Bhuddist; Hindu and Christian figurines are also known to be produced. Therefore, it is thought that the figurine was made in Burma and that it may represent Mary or an angel.

An Early Bronze Age copper alloy flat axe head. In section, the axe head is lenticular in shape. In plan, the axe head is roughly triangular in shape; the butt end is narrow and has a rounded end, and the sides flare out towards the cutting edge. The cutting edge is cresentic in shape. There are signs of wear on the cutting edge, suggesting it has been used. There are also file marks visible on the surface of both faces, suggesting that the blade has been re-sharpened on the surface. Overall, the surface patina is smooth and dark green.
