Modern carrera marble fragment from a figurine. The fragment represents the head of a female. There are traces of paint remaining on the face and the eyes. Geoff Egan has looked at an image of this find has compared it to the present-day Burmese tradition of the painting of religious figures carved from very fine quality local marble. Although the figures produced are mainly Bhuddist; Hindu and Christian figurines are also known to be produced. Therefore, it is thought that the figurine was made in Burma and that it may represent Mary or an angel.
