Copper alloy pot leg of medieval of post-medieval date, c. 1200-1700AD.  The leg is sub rectangular in section narrowing slightly to for a foot shape at the base.  The foot has a rounded toe.  There is a relief moulded line across the ankle.  The base of the foot is slightly worn.  The top of the leg has a rough break where it has become detached from the original vessel. The leg is neatly finished and relatively thin suggesting that this may have come from a serving vessel, such as a ewer, rather than from a cooking vessel such as a skillet or cauldron. &…

A complete copper alloy domed / beehive thimble of Late Medieval dating (c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1550) The thimble is of the beehive or domed shape and is circular plan.  The thimble is covered with a series of circular indentations which have been punched in a spiral pattern on top of the dome, but in vertical lines on the sides.  There is a horizontal groove as decoration just above the base of the thimble. An early medieval strap fitting or 'socketed hook dating to AD 1000-1100.  The object consists at one end of a rectangular terminal with a broken edge. This would once have possibly then extended into a hook as seen on other examples. Below this terminal the object extends into an opposing curved edge with a large perforation through it. A complete copper alloy asymmetrical double loop buckle of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The buckle frame has one pointed loop and one D shaped loop. The D shaped loop has a cylindrical roller secured around the outer edge. The pointed loop has six shallow horizontal grooves along the outer edge, The pin is wrapped around the central bar, which is narrowed at either end.
