The buckle has moulded floral decoration on the outer edge of each loop and at either end of the strap bar. Only part of the copper alloy pin survives.

A near complete copper-alloy and enamelled Early-Medieval buckle, dating from circa AD 700-800.
The object is broadly an inverted triangle in plan with an incomplete circular projection at the tip. The main body of the buckle then expands to the opposing upper edge which features two incomplete triangular projections on either corner. A rectangular pin hole is present, measuring 4.7 mm by 2.4 mm.

A complete copper alloy asymmetrical double loop buckle of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700).
The buckle frame has one pointed loop and one D shaped loop. The D shaped loop has a cylindrical roller secured around the outer edge. The pointed loop has six shallow horizontal grooves along the outer edge, The pin is wrapped around the central bar, which is narrowed at either end. Iron corrosion products present on the base of the pin, indicate that the pin has been made from iron.

Around 45 % of the buckle remains consisting of the outer edge of the loop. The axis bar, pin and rest of the loop are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The object is broadly D shaped. The outer edge has been decorated with a central triangle consisting of two raised diagonal rectangular strips joining to a point towards the outside of the buckle, forming a decorated pin rest. Post Medieval, copper alloy, double looped buckle, c. 1650-1720. The buckle is ornate and retains traces of white-metal coating. Between the two D-shaped loops is an off-set bar, the junctions being marked by mouldings. there are further mouldings around the frames, in the middle of each frame is a palmette moulding. The underside of the buckle is slightly hollow-cast and its two loops are slightly angles so that their edges stand above the line of the bar.
