Incomplete and worn Rose and Orb Nuremberg Jetton dating c. 1543-1635AD.  The obverse is very worn but appears to have the rose motif at the centre surrounded by alternating crowns and lis. The legend has almost complete worn away, but it is possible to make out some of the letters and …WIN… suggests this may be a product of the Krauwinckel family, who were operating between 1543 and 1635AD).  The reverse is slightly better preserved with the Imperial orb within a tressure of three arches and three angles.  The legend is illegible.  Measurements: d…

A complete copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Schultes I dating to AD 1553 - 1584. Rose/orb type. The obverse depicts alternating crowns and fleur de lis with a central six petalled rose. The reverse depicts the Imperial Orb within tressure of three arches. The obverse legend is legible "HVLTES G", but the reverse legend is heavily worn. The token has been bent along part of the edge.

A complete copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton dating to 16th - 17th century. Rose/orb type. The obverse is heavily corroded but a crown and a fleur de lis are visible, the letters "CKELIN" are visible. The reverse depicts the Imperial Orb within tressure of three arches and letters "O....TOD" are visible. The legends are fictitious. The token has been bent and it has been torn along part of the edge; there is a small hole towards the edge of the token caused by wear.

Obverse has three crowns and three lis arranged around a central rose, all within an inner circle, inscription reads GLICK:KVMPT:[VO]N:GO: (an abbreviated inscription translating as 'Good fortune comes from God'); initial mark is a radiate sun Reverse has an Imperial Orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a double stranded trefoil, six annulets in the field, all within an inner circle; Wreath around:, initial mark is a radiate sun.

A struck copper alloy Nuremburg jetton - possibly Hans Krauwinkel. The jetton is heavily worn and corroded so that most of the inscription is lost. The flan is distorted and a large pierced hole has been cut near to one edge: diameter 3.4mm. The hole has been cut from the obverse to reverse and edges flattened back Obv: Central flower around which three crowns and three fleur-de-lis are arranged. Rev: Central orb around which is a tressure of three arches and three angles.
