De Jersey (2015) writes:
"An uncertain record of a small hoard mostly of Dobunnic silver, perhaps containing six or eight coins, first published by Allen (1960a, 249), on the basis of information received from A.D. Passmore. The latter had noted "about half a dozen of Nunney type, with unique silver coin" (Allen 1961a, 130). On the CCI record card for one of the Dobunnic units (no. 2 in the list below), Sheppard Frere has quoted a letter from Passmore to the British Museum, dated 20 May 1936, in which he says that these coins "were I think found together but am not sure."

Four Iron Age gold coins were found by metal-detector users. The first coin (an uninscribed British Iron Age East Wiltshire stater) was discovered in 2005 and recorded with the PAS (database number WILT-643B17). The remaining three were found in January and February 2010. A silver-plated copper alloy contemporary copy of a Roman silver denarius of Augustus dating to the period c. 19 BC to 16 BC (Reece Period 1). SIGNIS RECEPTIS reverse type depicting an aquila l. and a standard r. flanking S P Q R arranged around the clipeus virtutis inscribed CL V. Spanish mint of Colonia Patricia. RIC I (rev.ed.), p.47, no.86a.
Measuring c.18mm in diameter and weighing 2.94g (45.4gn). The coin has die axis 7 and is distorted through being nail-punched from the obverse. It has some wear.
