A broken copper-alloy finger ring of Roman date. The ring consists of part of the oval-shaped bezel. both shoulders and part of the loop. The oval box setting contains the remains of a fragmented blue glass setting. The ring is broken off at the same point on both sides of the loop. The remaining shoulders starts to narrow as it moves away from the bezel and is undecorated. The ring is of Guiraud type 4e, dating to the 3rd-4th century AD.

A complete silver-gilt posy ring of 17th or early 18th century date. The ring is heavy D-shaped sectioned hoop with a plain outer surface. The 2.5mm thick hoop is solid silver and was originally gilded. The gilding has largely worn off, particularly on the outer surface. The band shows a transverse line likely indicating that the hoop was created by bending a strip of silver and joining the ends with silver solder. A cast copper alloy Roman finger ring of Henig Type IX, or Guiraud Type 9a (c.AD 200-410). The finger ring is solid cast and filed with eight flat undecorated facets on the outside edge, a smooth flat inner surface and straight sides. The band has an uneven width and thickness with a max width of 5.0mm, max band thickness 1.5mm, internal diameter 15.9mm, external diameter 19.6mm. A Medieval copper alloy finger ring, dating to AD 1150-1500. The bezel rises from the shoulders to a truncated point, at which a sub-spherical blue glass pseudo-gem stone in inlaid into a sub-circular cell. The shoulders of the ring are expanded in profile, and taper towards the base of the hoop. The hoop is flat in cross section. A Medieval gold ‘stirrup-shaped’ finger ring. The bezel rises from the shoulders to a truncated point, at which a sub-oval green glass pseudo-gem stone in inlaid into a sub-oval cell. The shoulders of the hoop are plano-convex in cross section, but this flattens towards the base of the hoop.  Dimensions: Length 19.7mm; Width 19.2mm; Thickness 7.2mm; Weight 10.49g. Discussion: Similar rings were worn throughout the medieval period, but were at their most popular in the 13th century. Cf. Egan & Pritchard (2002: 326), cf. ibid nos. 1608-1609.

A Medieval silver gilt finger ring dating to c. AD 1400-1600. The finger ring is plano-convex in cross section, with a flat, plain internal surface. The exterior surface is decorated with beaded or stippled panels formed of 6 parallel transverse bands of pellets separated by obliquely angled, lenticular grooves. There is a slight moulded border. A copper-alloy coiled finger ring of uncertain date. The finger ring has probably been made by re-using a section of bracelet. The finger ring is circular in plan and is formed of a long strip copper alloy which is sub-rectangular or oval in cross section. The strip has been coiled around twice to form the ring. The ring weighs 6.93g and measures 19.5mm in diameter, 10.31mm in height and 2.71mm in thickness.

The band of th ring partially survives which have a circular cross section The bezel is square in shape, but each side of the square rises to form a small pyramidal shape, There is a small blue stone in the centre of the bezel. The reverse of the bezel is flat. In total, the ring measures 15.84mm in length, 8.11mm wide and weighs 0.92g

A complete Late medieval-Post medieval copper-alloy signet finger ring dating to c. AD 1450-1600. The bezel has a shield shape, incised into which is the letter 'W' flanked by letter S. The shoulders are decorated. The hoop is damaged in the opposite part of the bezel. It weighs 5.31g. A similar ring is illustrated by Saunders (1991), p. 46, no.24.

A copper-alloy Roman finger ring probably consisting of a reused Late Iron Age or early Roman bow from a La Tené type brooch. The fragment consists of the bow only curled in upon itself to form the ring. The upper half of the original bow seems to be decorated with a series of punches going down through it. The ring measures 18.52mm in external diameter and 11.33mm in internal diameter. The finger ring weighs 4.81g. Similar examples are recorded on PAS database as WILT-B399F9.

Medieval (13th-14th century) silver finger-ring, measuring 20.01x20.58mm in diameter (internal 18.25x18.47mm) and weighing 2.99g. The finger-ring is composed of a strip of sheet silver bent into a hoop and joined on the inside with solder. This join has now come apart. The finger-ring is inscribed on the outside of the hoop between two grooves flanking the edges: backwards s st Wirgo Maria (St Virgin Mary). The broken join occurs between the backwards s and the s of st (presumably together an elaborate capital S).
