A complete silver-gilt posy ring of 17th or early 18th century date. The ring is heavy D-shaped sectioned hoop with a plain outer surface. The 2.5mm thick hoop is solid silver and was originally gilded. The gilding has largely worn off, particularly on the outer surface. The band shows a transverse line likely indicating that the hoop was created by bending a strip of silver and joining the ends with silver solder. A cast copper alloy Roman finger ring of Henig Type IX, or Guiraud Type 9a (c.AD 200-410). The finger ring is solid cast and filed with eight flat undecorated facets on the outside edge, a smooth flat inner surface and straight sides. The band has an uneven width and thickness with a max width of 5.0mm, max band thickness 1.5mm, internal diameter 15.9mm, external diameter 19.6mm. The metal has a smooth, shiny dark green/silvery patina and weighs 1.51g.

A complete cast copper alloy cosmetic mortar of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c.100 BC-AD 200). The crescentic mortar is of end-looped type with a total length of 76.2mm and a weight of 22.87g. The end-loop has straight sides and a rounded external edge (3.2-4.0mm thick) and is of turned-over form with an everted end, possibly representing a stylised bird’s head (Jackson 2010: 23). The centre of the loop is teardrop shaped with internal dimensions 13mm x 8.6mm (17.3mm external from top to bottom, 26.1mm from end to everted end).

A fragment of a cast copper alloy figurine depicting the god Mercury, dating to the Roman period (c. 43- 410 AD). The fragment consists only of the head of the figurine, ending in a break across the neck.
The head is wearing a winged petasos cap, the wings are asymmetrical and curve out from the front of the cap. The cap extends down the back of the head to the nape. The cast brooch is incomplete, missing the spring and the catch-plate (with a length of 48.4mm, a surviving depth of 11.9mm, and a weight of 3.1g). The integral spring is represented by its protruding stub. The missing chord was tensioned by an integral forward facing hook at the head. An incomplete Roman or Late Iron Age cosmetic mortar of cast copper alloy (100 BC-AD 410). The object is crescent shaped, with knobbed terminals at both ends and a broken attachment loop in the centre of the outside surface of the object. A shallow, sub-lenticular groove 34.5mm in length runs along the inner surface of the crescent. The object is somewhat corroded, with areas of active corrosion and an overall worn grey-green patina. The majority of the attachment loop is missing and there is minor damage to the edge of the groove.
