The harness pendant is shield-shaped with an integrally cast loop; the front is decorated in relief blue enamel depicting a unicorn rampant.  The suspension loop is 8.5mm long with a loop hole (2.6mm in diameter) which is set 90 degrees from the shield. Description and identification The reported object is a cast gold finger ring with stone setting. It has an octagonal hollow bezel tapering upwards to form an oval aperture for the stone. Medieval copper alloy buckle frame of 13 to 15th century date The cast buckle frame is missing any folded sheet plate it may have had and it’s pin and is of oval from (with a length of 20.7mm, a width of 23.8mm and a weight of 3.1g). The outside edge of the frame is widened with a notch for the pin. The frame is of rounded sub-rectangular section (with a thickness of 2.5mm – 3.1mm and a width of 2.3mm – 4.3mm). The rounded bar is off-set and of sub-rectangular section (2.7mm x 3.8mm). The min pin has left ferrous corrosion staining on the bar and outside edge of the frame. …
