A copper alloy object of uncertain date, use, and completeness.
The object consists of a spike, square in cross section and tapering to a point, it is 65.5mm long. The top of the object measures 8.51mm by 8.54mm, it is broadly flat but somewhat uneven, possibly suggestive of a break.
The object is a mid-brown colour with areas of uneven green corrosion.

A near complete lead alloy toy pocket watch, dating from c.1800 to 1900.
The object consists of a lead alloy (pewter or spelter) case, which is circular in plan with an attached hanging loop. Mounted into the front of the object is a circular glass disk which is surrounded by a concave border. The reverse features a design of concentric ridged circles.
The toy watch is dark grey in colour, the glass is sea worn and has a frosted appearance.

A cast lead object, possibly a cap or a ferule, of probable Medieval to Post Medieval date.
The object is cup or cap shaped in form. It has a flat top which is broadly circular in plan measuring 17.1mm in diameter. The top features an impressed brown decoration, depicting a bishop’s mitre. The mitre features a design of an elongated cross flanked by two crozier shaped symbols. A prehistoric flint knife, possibly dating from the Neolithic period c. 4000 – 2351 BC.
The knife is incomplete, with a surviving length of 46.67mm, a maximum surviving width of 18.16, a maximum thickness of 4.86 mm. It has been worked with scalar retouch along the left dorsal margin, it has a stepped fracture resulting in the loss of most of the right margin. There is retouch on the remaining left ventral margin towards the knife tip. The flint is brown-grey in colour, unpatinated, and non-cortical.

A complete copper alloy post medieval sailmaker's palm guard, or palm iron.
The object is circular in plan (33.4mm diameter) with three drilled lugs protruding 5.4mm from the edge. The back of the object is flat, and the front has a flat rim with a central area that is slightly recessed and gently concave.

A complete, Medieval lead ampulla dating from around the 13th to 15th century (c. 1200-1400AD)
The body of the ampulla is circular, measuring 31.3mm in diameter and is decorated on one side with incised radiating lines representing a scallop shell. The reverse has a raised circular feature, measuring 25.1mm in diameter. This side appears to be undecorated although the surface is heavily pitted which may obfuscate any design once present. The neck of the ampulla is funnel shaped and measures 24.3mm long, with a neck opening 22.8mm wide and 15.2mm deep.

A fragment of a socketed axehead of later Bronze Age date. The fragment comprises the blade and front portion of the axehead, which is 30.05mm in length, with a maximum width of 38.09mm. The cross section is subrectangular, the side profile is triangular and the blade edge is curved. The rear end reveals the hollow interior of the casting. The fragment is heavily abraded and corroded and the cutting edge has been lost.

An iron cannon ball, most likely of a post medieval date. The object is spherical with areas of concretion. There is corrosion and pitting to the surface, which is orange-brown in colour. The diameter and weight could be suggestive of the type of cannon ball used in a Demi-Culverin cannon.

An incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval sword belt fitting, dating from around the 16th - 17th century.
The object consists of a flat plate with a tri-lobed top and a foliate incised design to the surface. At the bottom of the plate is a hook with a rounded terminal. Hanging from the hook is a suspension loop which has a horizontal break under the hole.

A loop-headed ringed pin, with slightly pitted, stripped surface and golden colour (typical of some beach finds). The ring has a dark corrosion layer on the surface, remnants of which also survive on the shaft. The ring is of 'fixed' type, with a constriction where it fits through the loop head of the pin; the pin can therefore swing, but not move freely around the ring. Medieval copper alloy buckle frame of 13 to 15th century date
The cast buckle frame is missing any folded sheet plate it may have had and it’s pin and is of oval from (with a length of 20.7mm, a width of 23.8mm and a weight of 3.1g). The outside edge of the frame is widened with a notch for the pin. The frame is of rounded sub-rectangular section (with a thickness of 2.5mm – 3.1mm and a width of 2.3mm – 4.3mm). The rounded bar is off-set and of sub-rectangular section (2.7mm x 3.8mm). The min pin has left ferrous corrosion staining on the bar and outside edge of the frame. …
